Advance Vermont is engaged with individuals and organizations working across the state to improve accessibility, affordability, and completion of education and training beyond high school. This work is broad in scope and unified by a shared vision of personal, economic, and civic prosperity.
In order to support the State’s identified education and workforce development priorities, Advance Vermont, its partners, and cross-sector stakeholders must focus our attention to four strategic efforts.
Advocate for institutional and public policy advancing education and workforce development goals. Influence decision makers from various sectors.
Coordinate with partners across sectors. Develop, document and share best practices. Convene stakeholders and content experts.
Develop and manage public marketing campaigns and public affairs efforts aimed at influencers, students, and parents to build awareness about the importance of postsecondary education.
Research and share state and national trends in postsecondary attainment and related indicators. Build a comprehensive data dashboard focusing on six categories.
